So what did I actually do today? Well, I helped set up the “stage” and then tear it down and I addressed some envelopes. Not exactly the business experience I was hoping for but it was better than the dreaded excel spreadsheet that I am sure I will be back to on Friday…get excited.
I ate lunch at noon, which meant I was starving by the time I got home at about seven. I was told by two of my buddies down the hall that they had made a huge sandwich they dubbed the “manwich” the night before. Apparently it consisted of chicken, ham, tomato, some fairy dust and other things that they think are manly. I took this as a challenge. So tonight, I made the SLAMWICH. Listen to this music as you read the next couple of sentences (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diXUz0DrGG0). Here’s a picture.
I know what you’re thinking….Why am I drooling? How did he do it? How can I do it? You’re drooling because it was delicious. I did it using chicken, roast beef, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, cheese, a fried egg (they put ‘em on everything over here), and a roll I bought at the market down the street. I just grilled it all up in a skillet, toasted the roll and threw it all together. It was delicious and I think I’ve started a competition. Stay tuned, it could get interesting. So yes, I have resorted to blogging about a sandwich that I made. Sorry, just get used to rather boring blogs on the days I work. If there is something you would rather hear about or want to know, just let me know and I will do my best. Until next time….
Cheers!
